In the South of Downtown Montreal, a district named Griffintown has a variety of classy restaurants and the finest supermarkets by its side. If anyone is familiar with Grinder, you must know how good it is! I got to eat there a few days ago and it’s never disappointing! During summer, a huge terrace covered with plants, cool walls, paintings and music is waiting for you to eat there with your friends and family, which brings out the best atmosphere to your dinner.
I got a steak and salad as a side dish and a white sangria as a drink which was amazing. After eating, we all had to digest so we walked further down and ended up going in the Richmond Market that is right next to the Richmond restaurant, similar to Grinder.
The market had everything with a super rustic and ancient furnitures. The candles were vintage, the pillows weren’t modern but the style was fantastic and different. They also had soaps, coffee jars, tea bowls and amazing chocolates. I wanted to get a candle again… but I didn’t.
So if you all want to have a good moment after a big meal at Grinder’s , I particularly recommend stepping in this market to smell the candles, try on body lotion and taste a bit of cakes they have! You’ll love it. Xx
