Tmol Shilshom: Grab a Coffee and Read a Book

//Tmol Shilshom: Grab a Coffee and Read a Book

Tmol Shilshom is a Jerusalem institution that was established in 1994.

Since then, this café-restaurant and bookstore is located in the city center of Jerusalem and so many come to eat.

Not only this place was awarded for the best pasta, salads, shakshoukas and desserts…

But it is also the coziest spot to chat, chill, write blog posts and get inspired!

Trust me, coming from a blogger who sometimes have no inspiration to write, this place is great!

And I mean… have you seen how pretty the area is!

The Food

Today, I was CRAVING some shakshouka. I just got back to Israel from my trip to Paris and that’s all I wanted since.

Tmol Shilshom was recommended to me and I couldn’t be happier.

The food was great. The shakshouka was small but perfectly cooked. Sometimes, restaurants make it too big and heavy; this one was perfect!

Apart from the food, all of the books on the shelves are on sale! It is not only a romantic place to read a book but a great place to shop too.

All the money from the books sold is given to the Save the Word Association which creates work opportunities for the disabled!

What a great cause!

I don’t live in Jerusalem but I will definitely be back to this café. Thank you Tmol Shilshom for such a great afternoon.

It’s so pretty over there and it looks like every corner is Instaworrthy, even the umbrellas in the sky. You’re surrounded by beauty and wonderful food! What more could one ask for? Love it!
