On Top of the World

You just never realize how dense and enormous New York City really is until you go on Top of the Rock. The observatory tower on top of the Rockefeller Center. From each side, angle, position you put yourself in, you will have the most glorious view of NYC that will make you want to stay forever.

The first time I went up there was maybe 10 years ago and I remember how amazed I was. Well, guess what? I went back again on my last day and the same feelings came back all at once!

If you’re ready to ascend 70 floors and take pictures of a 360 degree view of New York, I definitely recommend you checking the weather before you head up there; you wouldn’t want it to rain! I got lucky with the weather, it was warm and sunny. Hope it’s the same for you guys too.

I am back in Montreal now and will be blogging about my experience when I went dog sledding a week ago. Can’t wait to show you all the amazing pictures I took of the huskies!

I definitely need to visit the Rockefeller Center! I’ve only been to NYC once for a weekend, but there is so much to see and do, it’s hard to squeeze it all in.

I love the birdeye photos of NY because I am fascinated by the huge Central Park!

Love Top of the Rock! It really is one of the better views, especially since you can see the Empire State. Gorgeous photos!

You are so right, I never realized how big NYC was until I went to the top of the Rock. I’m scared of heights, so that wasn’t a fun trip for me. But I do love NYC so much!

Hmm it seems like your site ate my first comment (it was extremely long) so I guess I’ll just sum it up what I submitted and say, I’m thoroughly enjoying your blog. I too am an aspiring blog writer but I’m still new to the whole thing. Do you have any tips and hints for first-time blog writers? I’d definitely appreciate it.
