So I really have no idea why and how but the Israeli Ben Gurion Airport is really one of my favourite airports.
That feeling when you land in Israel is just incredible and there are no words to it; you just feel at home the second the plane gets to the ground. I’ve been to this airport so many times yet, I am always fascinated and amazed by the architecture, the space, and the facades this airport has. Even if you are tired after a long flight and all you want to do is sleep, keep your eyes open and look at every detail, you won’t regret it.
I’m always ready for new adventures and living in Israel makes it so much easier to travel everywhere since it is close to the other countries! So when I have the chance to travel somewhere, it could be 2 am or 5 pm, I will always be open to discovering the airport’s design. The thing that blows me away most is the enormous ”mezuzah”, a very important Jewish symbol, located right before the arrivals customs. Don’t forget to take a look at it, you will be astonished at how big it is.
Oh and before I forget, if you are travelling in Israel and going home, don’t forget to get to the airport 3 hours before your flight since there is a really long security check! Can’t wait to share more airport tips with you all!
