After a really long flight and layovers, I finally landed to Nice where a family friend picked my cousin and I up to make our way to Cannes, where we were planning on surprising our grandmother. The surprise was epic! She couldn’t believe her eyes and we couldn’t believe we woke up with a view on La Croisette.
The first day was all about shopping, shopping and shopping. La Croisette has all the nicest boutique such as Chanel, Celine, Balenciaga and other stores that were way out of my budget. And for people like me who can’t buy a Louis Vuitton bag every single day, La Rue D’Antibe is the place to be and is located right behind La Croisette.
Zara, H&M, Pull&Bear, Maje, Sandro, all the perfect stores were on that street that was never ending. What made our day was realizing we came during the Christmas sales and that all the stores had the best promotions. I got super cute pieces at Zara, a plaid thin jacket, a silver beaded dress, grey boyfriend jeans and a transparant black shiny blouse. I got shirts from Comptoire des Comtoniers as well and new New Balance, my go-to shoes!
I also couldn’t resist getting macaroons from La Durée and eat it all in five minutes; I really need to chill when it comes to eating sweets in a minute. Either way, I am ready for my second day in beautiful Cannes so stay tuned everyone!
