Xoho ceasar, pizza bagel, mexican salad and smoked salmon. What would you eat?

Can anyone relate to the fact that getting your boyfriend to go eat with you at a good breakfast place is the hardest thing ever?

Well, after 3 hours of trying to convince him, I got us out of the house and on our way to the cutest and actually, pretty well hidden café in Tel Aviv, Café Xoho.

Heads up, if you are vegan or vegetarian, you will ADORE this place! No meat, no fish, just simple and delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch with tofu as an option if you ask!

Food and Drinks

We started the meal with a freshly squeezed orange juice and a matcha smoothie that was totally incredible! If you are not a big fan of matcha, this smoothie doesn’t taste too much like the bitter taste of matcha we all hate. Instead, they added honey, halva, coconut milk and banana are blended in together. It was not only the perfect taste but such a good blended smoothie! So so good!

I’m updated this post a year later because I tried new things at Café Xoho such as the tortilla and the caesar salad. Seriously guys, all of their meals are to die for! I cannot wait to live in Tel Aviv to head there every single weekend!

The Atmosphere

I really couldn’t stop looking at the hippie decor and atmosphere this café had. The brick wall made the place more vintage than it already was. The book shelves on the side just made you want to pick up a book and read it while drinking your coffee. The outside of the café had the coolest paintings, full of colors and cartoons everywhere! Ah, could have spent the entire day sitting down just looking at the smallest details they had. Even the floor had such a cool pattern to it!

The lovely staff brought our food only after 20 minutes and it was the perfect breakfast I wished for! I had a bagel with eggs, cream cheese, tomatoes and a bit of siracha for the spicy taste. I do not want to start describing how messy it was to eat, but it was delicious! First time I had such a good bagel in Israel!

What is your favorite thing to have at Café Xoho?
