Shila is not only good. It is exquisite!

For my favourite cousin’s birthday, my family and I headed to Shila ready to eat a delicious meal. At this restaurant, we didn’t feel like we were in the Middle East. It was a crazy experience of pure pleasure!

Appetizers and Main Meal

We started the meal with fresh focaccia that came with an eggplant dip. I really do not like eggplant and I promise you guys that I ate this one! The bread was topped with rosemary oil.

Then came the tuna tartare wrapped in avocado. I cannot even start by describing how good it was!!!!! There aren’t enough exclamation marks to put for this dish. It was just wow. The avocado was fresh and the tuna was perfectly spiced up.

Another tuna tartare came up but wrapped in beets next! Who would have though that fish wrapped in beet actually tastes good? Believe it or not, it was surprisingly amazing.

We got many different starters such as the seaweed salad, some salmon sashimi and a mozzarella tomato salad. This kind of salad is so easy to make and yet, it was beyond my expectations! Sheila is definitely the best of the best.

As for the meal, I shared a sea bass with hand made pasta. You could taste the butter in the pasta but it was not too much if you know what I mean. There were some veggies in the dish too and I really just could have ate it all. Jokes, I was SO full!

The Dessert

Now that you are already drooling over all of those pictures above, beware of the dessert pics! Sorry not sorry in advance! We got a plate of fruit, a chocolate cake, a sort of creme brûlée with little mango bits and some other delicious plates. Everything was TOO good. When the dessert came on the table, we all said we wouldn’t finish them. Guess what guys? We finished it all in a second. I will definitely head back when my family comes to visit.

On that note, I hope I made all of you hungry ha! Let’s not forget to mention that the restaurant is located right in the center of Tel Aviv. Thank you for reading, xx

How can I forget about my outfit for a night like this one? I wore this dress I got from Zara about a month ago. It is flowy and loose slash perfect for this hot weather in Tel Aviv. I paired it with my Zara clutch and my flitter shoes from l’Intervalle. They are so comfortable I could live in them!

Simple and elegant, I also didn’t forget to put my hair up in a high braid. It’s my new favourite hairstyle recently! I am cutting my hair short again this week though!
