If you’ve ever wanted to visit a Parisian restaurant but you live in Montreal, Au Festin de Babette is definitely the place you want to go to for lunch!
No matter what the season is, the place is always cozy, charming and will make you feel at home right when you sit down. As you can see above, there are cool art on the walls, maps of Paris, French quotes and postcards on the corners; totally the kind of art you want to see while eating.
As for the food, the menu is completely diverse, there are sandwiches, salads, quiches, crepes that are to die for and a ton more!
I got a caprese salad with tomato, mozzarella, artichoke and lettuce which is my fave and the thing I always have there. My friend got a goat cheese sandwich with a salad on a side dish which was unreal too! The ingredients are fresh and the balsamic sauce is crazy good (I wonder what’s the magic ingredient).
And because I always like having something sweet after lunch, I couldn’t resist getting the pear and nutella crepe which came fresh, warm and melting on the plate. It was TOO good!
So, what are you all waiting for? Grab your shoes and get going!
