A Taste of Israel at Moshiko

//A Taste of Israel at Moshiko

Moshiko: you got to eat it!

Moshiko has it all. If you’re a falafel and shawarma eater, and I’ve been one for the last two years until I moved to Israel, Moshiko is a place you definitely have to try when visiting Jerusalem.

Located on Ben Yehuda, one of Jerusalem’s famous street in the old city, you will see a line of people waiting to get the warm pita in their hands. I got the schnitzel pita and it was crispy, fresh and delicious. I topped it with sour cream, spices, hummus (duh) and some tomatoes and lettuce. it made it ten times better too.

The fries are also homemade and really delicious; something you don’t want to miss out on. You need to get that Israeli taste once in your life! Oh, and if you’re lucky, you might stumble across the famous man playing music on top of a street sign!

Have you ever eaten a shawarma or falafel before?

I think there’s something about this country. I am ALWAYS hungry! As long as I try to keep it healthy, it is so tempting to grab a big Israeli classic lunch.

Definitely not sour cream, since Moshiko is kosher. It was probably tehina.
