Want to hear about the Christmas market? Well before I tell you all about it, listen to this first.
After a four hour flight, I had to wait for people to bring me back my suitcase that they took by accident. I finally made it to Crans-Montana, a village next to Sion and Geneva. Landing on Christmas Eve was totally hectic but also super amazing. The city and main place was filled with decorations and a big Christmas Market in the center of the city.
As you can see in the picture above, the altitude is 1015 m but this number just went up and up each minute. The fresh mountain air is truly amazing and gives my cheeks a pink colour during the day. However, I have to admit that breathing is hard and the air is so thin that it’s hard to go for a run or a jog which is too bad.
The Christmas Market had a special fire show by Le Cirque du Soleil, which was unreal! Everyone was gathered in the middle with Santa’s hat on their heads (I unfortunately didn’t get one). If you need any tips for cool places in Crans, don’t hesitate to contact me!
Thanks for stopping by today, xx
How wonderful! I’ve never been and I just know I would have more trouble at higher altitudes. I mean I got winded walking up a hill at the zoo with my little one the other day. lol The fire throwing looks cool and I bet overall it was so fun and neat!
